State and Federal Underground Storage Tank (UST) Regulations establish specific guidelines for the removal and closure of UST systems. Leaking UST’s may pose a threat to potable water supply sources and can negatively impact environmentally sensitive areas such as creeks, streams, lakes, wetlands and groundwater. Vapors from leaking UST systems can travel through utility conduits into buildings, creating fire and explosion hazards.

Aqua-Terra has extensive experience working with state and local regulatory authorities to ensure UST system closures are completed in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations and guidance documents. Our team of professionals have provided UST closure services at hundreds of locations throughout the Southeast. Aqua-Terra has successfully completed the closure of fifteen (15) UST’s at a single railroad facility in Kentucky.

Aqua-Terra personnel takes pride in our established reputation for safety, quality engineering and UST management services. Regardless of the size or scope of your project, you can be confident that you will receive quality service, within budget and in compliance with applicable UST regulatory requirements.
